Yum Yum Cake – Old Southern Recipe

4 months ago 2.9 K

I’ve tried oodles of Southern cake recipes over the years and nothing beats this pound cake in my opinion.  The simple flavor of a clbackic pound cake is hard to beat. A combination of butter, cream cheese, and superfine sugar gives this cake a wonderful texture.

Ingred*ents

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 cups crushed pineapple (drained)
  • Icing
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick margarine (I used butter)
  • 1 small can Pet milk (5 oz) (evaporated milk)
  • 1 cup coconut

How To Make Yum Yum Cake – Old Southern Recipe
